seriously, is there a manual or something i'm missing?
So I came out to a few people in the past, and one of the most annoying, illogical statements I get is, "Wow, you don't look gay." or "You don't look gay enough."
What does gay look like? What they mean is, "Wow, you don't look like a stereotype that I've pictured since I learned that the world is not only full of straight people such as myself." It generally goes something like this:

In all seriousness though, guys, someone saying you don't look enough like a certain stereotype is really insulting. Whether you're here because you yourself have experienced this, or maybe because you've said this to someone, or if you're just here for comic violence... please remember to keep other peoples' feelings in mind when talking to them about their sexuality. That's all. :)
